If Jesus is described fourteen times in the Gospels as “having Compassion” for those to whom He ministered, then certainly anyone trying to minister in His name cannot do so without COMPASSION.

INTERVENTION is a modern word that the world uses to describe the breaking of the cycles of sin and injustice. With the problems of abandonment, abuse, and human trafficking in our world today, various training and humanitarian aid are necessary, but the only true intervention is the preaching of the Gospel and the converting of the soul!

This ministry can be summarized by a simple concept of EVANGELISM, that is, to use the necessary means and methods with the clear message that “…Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures…” and taking this simple message to all who have not heard.

Our primary ministry is based out of Moldova

We have been working extensively with the Ukraine relief efforts over the past several months, funding supplies at the border and transporting refugees

In Romania, we assist with the Village of Hope, a home to around 170 children, as well as sponsor benevolence needs to the pastors of several village churches

Ladies from the villages gather at one church for a day of Bible teaching, encouragement, and fellowship

We visit the 16 orphanages in South Ukraine and Moldova throughout the year to provide programs, gifts, and supplies

With director Joanna’s experience in social work, she has been able to utilize her services in Moldova to help their CPS develop a program for children transitioning from orphanages into foster homes

Working with another non-governmental organization in Moldova allows us to provide supplies and training for older children in a transition home or single mothers in a maternity home

The elderly and widows in the areas we serve periodically receive food baskets funds

Compassionate Hope regularly sponsors a few pastors and helps many more with medical needs, church building needs, and support for church members with special needs

Our Outreach Camps are typically 5, 8-hour days that invite children in the villages to partake in meals, Bible teaching, crafts, and activities

Different from camps, Kids Clubs offer discipleship throughout the year by meeting on a weekly or monthly basis

Many churches in Ukraine and Moldova will offer a Winter Camp during their break, Compassionate Hope provides funds for them to have heat in their buildings as well as a meal

Every child who attends camps or clubs gets a New Testament Bible from Compassionate Hope
We also work with a group of Moldovan Turkish people, who go into Turkey (a Muslim country) and distribute Bibles and the gospel there
