Straight Adoption
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future.”
Straight Adoption/Low Legal Risk
Straight Adoption occurs when the parental rights have been terminated. There are over 5,000 waiting children in Texas ready to be adopted. If you are called to adoption, this may be the best choice for you and your family.
Low Legal Risk occurs when parental rights have not yet been terminated but will most likely be very soon. These children will be under foster care until they are ready to be moved over to adoption.

Here are some other things to think about
- If unable to have children, have you come to terms with your infertility? Are you choosing adoption to fulfill a void, or are you choosing adoption to care for a child?
- How do you feel about parents who place their children for adoption?
- Do you understand that adoption is a lifelong process?
