Adoption Reunion

Texas Baptist Home hosts an Annual Adoption Alumni Reunion every summer. It is our desire to keep in touch with you through out the years and this party is a great way for us as staff to see your family grow as well as for your family to build relationships with other families who’ve adopted. Please make plans to attend every year following the finalization of your adoption.

Not a TBH Family?

Here at the Texas Baptist Home we are only equipped to provide services for families who have chosen our agency for their adoption. However, if you are in need of Post-Adoption services, please contact mbaldwin@tbhc.org who will point you in the right direction for a Post-Adoption service provider in your area of the state of Texas.

Birth Mother Support Group:

What?

The Home exists to protect the sanctity of human life and to promote the preservation of the family. As a part of the fulfillment of this mission, we are also endeavoring to serve birthmothers who have placed their children for adoption. The group is facilitated by Lana Allen, M.A., LPC-Supervisor; Jackie Minchew, M.A., LPC-Intern, LMFT Associate; and Jessica Page, M.A., LPC-Intern. The group offers an environment that is safe and confidential for understanding, support, and healing for birthmothers. If you or someone you know is a birth mom and would like to be strengthened by the bond of common ground and experiences, please, join us as we come together monthly to share, grow, heal, and laugh.

The facilitators encourage ideas and feedback about the group.
