Foster Parent Awards May 2019
Every Quarter we have the privilege of recognizing a few of our awesome foster parents. This quarter falls on National Foster Care Awareness Month! We are thankful for our foster parents and all the hard work and love they give to our kids! Enjoy reading about some of foster parents being appreciated this month!
The Wyatts are amazing parents. They are very therapeutic and loving. Foster children always feel welcomed and cared for in their home. The Wyatts maintain constant contact with workers and always submit paperwork on time. They ask frequent questions to ensure the needs for the children in their care are being met. They are awesome!
The Scionkas have been through so much with this placement and it was not ever an ideal situation, but they worked hard to help the boys heal from their past and have never given up on them. They work overtime as foster parents taking them wherever they need to go and getting them whatever they need so that they can be the most successful in all that they do. They have two therapeutic children when they said that they would only take basic. They have done so well with them. The best part about it is because of their age they are like grandparents to the boys and they feel like they are a part of the family.
The Keenans are involved with their kids. They were willing from day one of placement to cultivate a healthy bond with all four kids to ensure a lasting sibling relationship. The Keenans turn in paperwork on time every single month oftentimes before they are sent reminders. They are open to receiving supervision and guidance from the case manager, counselor, and Doctors. They attend all treatment plans and implement the goals created. They ensure the kiddos are doing well in school and doing well emotionally/mentally. They strive to cultivate a home environment of acceptance and guidance.
We hope you enjoyed reading about some of our amazing families. Their case managers submit these every quarter and they so appreciate their families taking care of our kids so well! To learn more about becoming a foster parent, fill out an inquiry form today!
